The Parish Council is working on a comprehensive scheme to support villagers who are self-isolating.

This scheme will be launched in the next couple of days with a flyer delivered to each household. Look out for updates on this website, the parish council website (https://fressingfieldpc.org) and on Nextdoor.

Fressingfield Stores (01379 588188) is able to do local deliveries and The Swan (01379 586280) is able to do takeaways, as is The Fox and Goose (through their website).

The scheme:-

First things first - Can you be a volunteer?

Next - If you are staying at home because of the outbreak, you can get neighbourly help if you need it.

You may be a person who is self-isolating because you or someone in your house has got the virus. Perhaps you are in one of the vulnerable groups and have decided not to go out and about.

Either way, don't worry because volunteers are ready and eager to offer their assistance. Already 50 people have responded to this call for volunteers.

Soon, you will get a card posted through your door that looks like this

The name and contact details will be the person coordinating help just in your part of the parish. Phone them or email them. That person is waiting to hear from you so help can be organised.

Finally (for now!) an aide memoire for anyone organising 'working at home'.
