Parish Council Grants

Money to support parish groups and organisations.

The council has set aside £3,600 to support organisations and groups which have a local membership. It doesn’t matter if you are a well-established or just getting going. If you have a particular event or an idea to get off the ground, then you can apply for a grant from the parish council. This is using money raised through the precept.

Detailed guidance and an application form can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of the page. For more information and advice, contact the parish clerk. He will be able to talk through the scheme and explain how you can apply.

The council also allocates money to support organisations based outside the parish whose services parishioners may call on. Last year donations were given to Borderhoppa, East Anglian Air Ambulance, East Anglia's Children's Hospices, the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, the Fressingfield Branch of the Royal British Legion and the Waveney Foodbank. This year £1500 has been set aside for this type of donation.
